Communities are, without question central to our human experience. The goal of this discussion panel is to consider the value of creating and being part of a global community. All are invited as we explore; why communities are so important, some of the benefits of being part of a community, being in an online community versus an in-person community, and, what it takes to create a compassionate community. Hosted by Suzi von Mensenkampff and Anne Vetter, the featured panelists include: Marilyn Turkovich, CEO of Charter for Compassion, Shaun Glossop of Nottingham Mindfulness Group, Jackie and Claire of Positively Empowered Kids, Foppe Seekles – Spiritual Ambassador for People’s Health Alliance, and Sue Cooper, Founder of MOMM (Moments Of Mass Mindfulness). Those who have created their own communities – whether online or in person – are invited to join our panel and take part in this discussion to briefly share their experiences to inspire others to gather and forge compassionate communities in their locality. we aim to share practical approaches to creating community where you live.
