Mary WalshMary Walsh is a Certified Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher through the world-renowned McLean Meditation Institute (MMI). Mary began her journey of self-discovery and de-stressing her life in 2010. She was enjoying some positive changes in her life but still felt a bit stressed and easily distracted. After a near-death experience, Mary soon discovered that mindfulness and meditation were the missing ingredients to creating a serene, peaceful and happy life.

That’s when she started meditating. At first it was only occasionally on her own. Though it helped, but only gave her minimal and temporary benefits.

A friend suggested she contact the McLean Meditation Institute to find out more. She attended a half-day meditation class and soon, Mary found what she was looking for. She felt at ease, connected, and at home with her new meditation and mindfulness practices, and soon thereafter, Mary applied to become a meditation teacher through MMI and Sarah McLean became her mentor.

The rewards of Mary’s new meditation practice changed every aspect of her daily life – she’s happier, sleeps better, feels more focused on the present moment, is much less stressed, and experiences a consistent connection to all of life.

Becoming a mindfulness and meditation teacher sparked Mary’s passion for self-care and desire to help others become aware of and achieve their personal mindfulness and self-care goals.

Mary also became an Ayurvedic consultant through Shivani Ayurveda, a RYT 200 yoga instructor through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, and a certified Brain Longevity® Specialist through the Alzheimer’s Research & Prevention Foundation (ARPF).

Mary’s heart is really big and she is so very kind. Everyone who knows her would agree that she lives by her motto: “Every Day is a Gift”.

She’d love to show you how you too can transform your life through meditation and mindfulness. She specializes in working with people new to meditation and loves to encourage people like her who are looking to deepen their practice, one day at a time, one moment at a time.
