Erica Anderson is a meditation instructor based in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.
Erica’s own meditation practice began during her graduate studies (Master of Education, Curriculum and Instruction), as she engaged in self inquiry practices in order to better understand herself and others. As a former student, and now coach of the Intentional Communication program, she deepened her practice, using prescriptive meditations as means to explore belief systems and behavioural patterns through the lens of communication and relationships.
The benefits of this approach, using meditation to assist inquiry, led her to Sarah McLean and the McLean Meditation Institute, where she immersed herself in her practice and completed certifications in meditation, meditation instruction, and the MMI Mindfulness at Work programs.
Every stage of her personal development, from surviving to thriving, has unfolded by taking one small step at a time. So profound was her own transformation that she feels called to help others as they embark on their own personal journeys, with kindness, compassion, and care.
