Many people have enjoyed teachers and meditations from Feasts gone by and want to access the practices they love. So here is a little history on the Feast and links so you can access the various previous practices.
When the first Feast was started in 2008, it was observed in person in small groups all over the world. Since then, our world has changed and our use of online platforms has evolved along with it. Initially, daily practices were pre-recorded by teachers and uploaded to Talkshoe, a radio-station-like platform. Unfortunately, a few years ago, Talkshoe lost ALL of our meditations, and had no back up for us! We were really disappointed, and had to go on the hunt for those that were recorded by Feast-goers like you. We’ve been slowly getting some back. (If you have any, please email us!)
During the years that followed, teachers used to prerecord their offerings and we have many of them uploaded to Soundcloud.
In 2021, due to restrictions around the world, the Feast hosted daily live practices online which have since been uploaded to YouTube.
This year, most people have become familiar with how to use Zoom due to mandated physical distancing. Teachers are offering Feast-goers a live, daily session which are often recorded and then uploaded to YouTube within a few days.
Here are three ways you can access the practices:
- This year they are offered live, online, via the zoom room listed on the daily practices here.
- Recordings of the 2021 & 2022 Feast practices are uploaded to YouTube. Check out the recordings here.
- Previous Feast practices (pre-2021) can be found on Soundcloud (audio only). Find them here.
