LIndsey Crean HeadshotLindsey Crean is a Mindfulness teacher and trainer from County Kerry in Ireland. She completed her training with Creative Mindfulness in Ireland and the Life Practice Academy in the UK and facilitates meditation sessions for all age groups. She leads meditation sessions online for the Creative Mindfulness sangha and is an instructor and coach with this organisation. Currently, she is in the process of developing a Mindfulness for Pregnancy course to support women during the transformational period of pregnancy and the initiation into motherhood.

Lindsey’s style of meditation is trauma informed and gentle and participants are always encouraged to listen to their own needs. The structure of her meditations are based on her teacher Louise Shanagher’s work and start with a grounding practice, a kind check-in with yourself, noticing how you feel in your body, mind and heart, allowing whatever feelings and sensations are present, holding them with kindness and compassion, remembering your basic goodness and place in this world and enquiring within about what you need to support yourself.

Lindsey believes that mindfulness and compassion have the power to bring about peace in the world. She is passionate about sharing Metta/Loving Kindness practices with others as she believes that this practice is a way of promoting peace in our world. She has experienced many positive changes in her own life as a result of these practices and has witnessed them in the lives of those she practises with and teaches.
